During the pandemic it became painfully clear we could not allow ourselves to be dependent on a third party supplier.
The additional process of rubber overmolding the reed cages on our VFORCE4R using an outside supplier soon became a major headache for us, our distributors and consumers as the Covid induced supply chain bottleneck reared it's ugly head and seemingly endless delays ensued.
We decided it was time to follow our long tradition of having every single step of the production process fully back in-house. We set out to design a new reed valve that would achieve the same extended reed petal life of the VForce4R. However, now this would be achieved through an all-new reed cage surface design and reed petal combination that increases reed petal life, while completely eliminating an additional step in the production process. One less step in the production process lowers costs, which is passed straight to the consumer.
