If you call Moto Tassinari it's more than likely you'll have the pleasure of speaking to Crystal, as she is on the front lines providing Customer Service to those in need. Crystal came to us in the Summer of 2002 and has been here ever since. Crystal processes all orders and runs the books so she can help you with just about anything you could need or get the right person to assist you. Never underestimate her knowledge as she knows more about the history of the VForce Reed Valve System and all corresponding part numbers than most of the employees here.
Born and raised in Vermont. Crystal enjoys being outdoors and working out. If she’s not here chained to her desk at Moto Tassinari she’s probably working her way up a mountain, to a finish line or at the local fitness facility. She also enjoys living in her new home and working on home improvements on her free time.
If you ever find yourself in need of technical assistance fear not, as Jeff is only a phone call away. Jeff is extremely familiar with the VForce product line and it's numerous applications (snow, motorcycle, atv, etc.) and is sure to have the answer(s) you're in search of. Jeff is a "wanted" man by many of our customers who know him by name and count on his expertise when they want to discuss varied engine set-ups (all including VForce, of course). Jeff joined us in the Spring of 2000 after we lured him away from his current position as General Manager of a highly respected powersports dealership. It took a lucrative contract with the promise not to print his home phone number on his business card as a signing bonus and it was a done deal.
Jeff has spent the last 30 years working in the powersports industry and brings a wealth of knowledge that isn't limited to only technical assistance. Jeff plays a key role in engine extraction (from test vehicles), set-up and tear down on our in-house dyno as well. Jeff has a rich history of racing which includes motocross, off-road, road racing and even ice oval where he finished a season as track champion. During the summer months Jeff still likes to get out there and give it hell on the motocross track with his KTM 250. Jeff lives with his wife Tammy, daughter Ashley and son Andy in Wilder, Vermont.
After passing the "entrance exam" (working the Moto Tassinari booth at the 1999 Dealersports Expo in Indianapolis as a trial run) Zak joined us to head up our marketing department. Since that time Zak's capacity has shifted to where he works both sides of the marketing/advertsing coin by also doing all the creative work for everything from our print ads and promotional material to package design as well as our web presence. Zak received his design education from Pratt Institute in New York City, where he graduated with Honors and somehow managed to get neither mugged nor pick-pocketed.
Zak now lives in Hanover, New Hampshire with his wife Ruta, and daughter Meena (born June 1, 2005) and son Anand (born September 17, 2007). He's got more hobbies and interests than spare time, however when there is a spare moment he enjoys Visual and Communication design, Photography, Photoshop, Really good music (read NO pop music) Cycling, WRC, Hiking (especially Winter hiking), All things Apple, Drinking Margarita's, Designing Webpages without tables using CSS, HTML & XHTML, Reading historical non-fiction, Playing with a Guitar, Indian Food ("extra spicy") and just about anything from India.
With the motocross racing "career" a fading reminder of the distant past these days, Zak now spends every minute he can on his '09 BMW R1200GS, while at the same time trying not to become one of "those statistics".
Nick is the newest member of the Moto Tassinari team. He joined us shortly after graduating from UMass Amherst with a Mechanical Engineering degree in the summer of 2008
Most of the time you'll find Nick strapped to his desk crunching numbers and drawing new parts in Solid Works. When he's not at his desk you'll find Nick out back logging hours on the dyno and analyzing data from previous runs.
When not in the shop, Nick enjoys surfing, sailing and in the winter time skiing and snowboarding. He also enjoys working on his cars; a 2007 Scion tC and a 1929 Ford Roadster.
If you ever receive an order from Moto Tassinari there's a 99.99% chance that Ben packed and shipped it. Ben joined us in September of 2001 and has been fixture ever since. Ben is the resident "Stat Boy" as he is a rabid sports fan and follows everything from Curling to College hoops... well ok, maybe he draws the line at Curling. Once you set foot in the shipping / receiving warehouse, it's a mini ESPN Zone with the radio tuned to ESPN Radio 24/7 and Ben's laptop always loading some stat page. As a New England native he's all about the Red Sox in the Summer and you can be sure that when there's a game on, Ben's radio is locked on that frequency and he's running the tape gun wearing his batting glove and a mouthful of Joe Bazooka.
When Ben leaves the land of cardboard (the Moto Tassinari warehouse) he enjoys playing town team basketball, taming the Vermont twisties on his customized 2007 Yamaha R1, working on his supercharged Ford Mustang project car and of course watching and talking sports.
