To get one very common question out of the way upfront, the all-new VForce4 is currently only available for KTM 250/300 models. We will be releasing more models in early 2012.
The all-new VForce4 is built upon the solid foundation that has made the VForce3 such a success for the last 10 years. While the VForce3 has been continually refined over the years, this is a complete redesign of the entire system. We jokingly say, "The only thing we didn't change is the bolt pattern." However this is actually quite true. All the components that go into making a VForce reed valve system have been significantly changed since the VForce3.
While the most obvious change on the all-new VForce4 is certainly the full-length reed stops, let's take a look at some of the other significant changes as well…
- All-new reed petal resin system, carbon fiber and lay-up
- Pre-curved reed petal ensures better seal at tip
- Wider reed cage for maximum airflow
- Combined reed tip area increased by 10.5% resulting in increased total air flow
- Airfoil shape added to cage tip to increase air velocity from outer ports
- Long reed stops added to progressively slow petal tip velocity, for increased petal durability
- Reduced frontal area of central wing by 15.6% combined with a more aerodynamic shape
The VForce4 was recently reviewed by Dirt Bike magazine in the June 2011 issue. The staff raved about the performance benefit on their KTM 300, even over the existing VForce3 installed in their test bike.

VForce4 Product Information
What is the VForce4 reed valve system?
The VForce4 is a reed valve system that completely replaces your stock reed valve assembly.
What does it do?
The VForce4 aids in performance by eliminating the stock restrictive reed valve, with a design that is much more efficient and typically offers increased reed petal life as well.
What can I expect after installing the VForce4 reed valve system?
Dyno testing shows an immediate horsepower gain of anywhere from 5-10% through the majority of the powerband. The VForce also greatly increases throttle response and acceleration, while also broadening the peak power.
What is involved with installing the VForce4 reed valve system?
Simply remove the stock reed cage assembly and replace with the VForce reed valve system. The VForce is truly a simple bolt-in. If you're able to check your reeds for wear (which you really should be doing at least annually) then you have all the skills necessary to install a VForce reed valve system.
Are the reed petals replaceable? Can I do this myself?
Yes the reed petals are completely replaceable by the end user. The entire VForce3 reed valve line completely "screw-free". The entire assembly literally snaps together, making reed petal changes truly a "snap".
What is included when I purchase a VForce4 reed valve system?
Moto Tassinari product line brochure, Moto Tassinari and VForce decals, detailed installation instructions, VForce reed valve system (including reed petals) and gaskets.
What does it cost?
The MSRP of the Moto Tassinari VForce4 is $148 (USD).
